A World Afraid of Color

Bursting from the seams of my eyes.
Started in the root of my mind.
Better than ice cream.
Better than candy.
Bette than the finest wine.
Colored my thoughts crazy.
Color them until I bleed.
Like a busted pen..
Let all the hues in.
This world prefers the material.
Of things that will not last.
With black in the future.
And gray in the past.
They’ve turned their hearts on creation.
Of a world that can be renewed.
What can out last color?
Other than a light burning true.
`So look to me as I stand.
You have fallen, son of man.
You are all afraid of color.
And your imagination has been damned.
