Covet


They want what I’ve got…

That fire.

And I have what they want.

I have it all.

Blazin, rolled up.

Honey dew, happy too.

Reproduce, stand by you.

Flourish away.

They see what I have,

They’re haters-!

Can’t be happy for anyone but themselves.

And I laugh cuz I smell misery a mile away.

And I know the stench will never go away.

We can’t burn them.

That’s inhumane.

Can’t throw them off a cliff.

Too much time spent on them.

So I say parade boldly.

And pretend they don’t exist.

Because that fire belongs to me.
