The Death of Perception

 A spectrum of my mind
Is still yet inviting.

And it’s marvelous design.

Perfection stays haunting.
I wish everything was the way I saw.

Then I would be happy.

But when I get the power of all.

I’m saddened more daily.
The world is horrible-life, crazy

And no one seems to care.

So I’ll be the first to say it…

The universe isn’t fair.
Unless you take your issues and pretend that they’re not there.

Not with drugs, money or sex.

But witnessing the air.

Knowing that it exists.

Knowing that you’re alive.

Knowing that it will eventually not matter.

Especially when you die
