Things are going swimmingly with editing, and (as I keep saying) I am very excited for the release of this novel, Stained Waltz.
It is my first try at a vampire story, and I wanted to keep things JCS, meaning, altogether mine. There are probably thousands of vampire novels currently out right now, and I guarantee only a few have their own personal edge.
What needs to be done is the book cover, which I’m happy to announce has a new face model! One that I’m sure isn’t trying to rise to fame by being on a book cover. The artwork itself is stunning, and if you’ve been following my journey, nothing ever stops me.
As I was editing, I realized a few things about the novel. As much as we love gore in America…and the thought of vampires even excites certain people more than it should…I did exactly what I said I’d do and kept it mostly about the politics. Relationships played a huge factor in the book, setting the tone for the trials and tribulations the main character, Sacha Del Rossa, had to experience.
Imagine inheriting a secretive mess. Everyone has heard of stories or even experienced it, but the situation discussed in the novel is on such a grand scale, it will probably take a few more novels to explain it all. (which is my intent)
The main thing that will be the topic of discussion is this novels connection to my other novels, esepcially the fact that Amenity Units pops up on a few occassions. Bleeding Stars and Paper Hearts, my unfinished and marveled series first speaks of Amenity Units, who is basically responsible for synthetic human body suits, DNA grafting and DNA manipulation. Bleeding Stars and Paper Hearts: Adrianna is Mine will be re-released June 21st, 2019.
Along with a that comes the release of Black Domingo, a modern twist on a soul reaper named Marisol. Born into the destruction of the beginning, Marisol goes along life doing what she was created to do-removing dark souls and dark matter. It’s four thousand years into the future when the threat of The Darkness rises again that Marisol has to make a choice-save the universe or save herself. And, one novel in which I am excited about because I absolutely adore Science Fiction-The Dirty Deities! A group of freighters (or smugglers) pick up Alana, a being who was originally thought to be human, but turns out to be from the largely unliked group known as Manifesto A- the creators of the majority of the universe. Because of her unique bloodline-she only has one purpose…that is to save the universe in case Manifesto A decides to destroy it. But, not if Shawn, captain of The Dirty Deities has anything to say about it. This novel is anticipated to be released in August 2019, and Black Domingo will be released in October, hopefully around Halloween.
I believe those will be the majority of the novels releasing this year. I have other projects I would like to release, but I am currently picking my favorites!
