In two weeks, Anguished Immortals: Acts of the Fallen will re-release.
Why is this important?
Anguished Immortals: Acts of the Fallen was written and completed in June 2012. The original publication date is August 15h, 2012. I spent the next six months after that entirely finish my trilogy. I then went on to head my website formely known as Byond Epic, which brought in 75,000 visitors in a years time. I did all the advertising myself and I always have.
This is more of a wonderful memory than a strive to make money-money isn’t an object. The goal is to entertain…to bring original ideas to the forefront.
Though part of Anguished Immortals dives slightly into Greek mythology and the history of Orthodox Christians angels, seemingly the goal, plot and relations are based upon pure imagination. It was a joy beginning and ending that series. I realized I reached my peek with that story line near the end of the third novel.
On top of that, when I stepped away from everyone, I was able to write and focus on my work without playing childish games. Bleeding Stars and Paper Hearts did so well on a site known as Authonomy, I was sure I had learned how to fly. (for three weeks, the novel sat at #31, cruised to #7 and stayed put at #1 for a week)
Here we are, upon a release my soul has longed for. It was previously published, but I withdrew my novels from Amazon to gain some footing. Upon finally obtaining a substantial net worth, I realized I can still have my cake and eat it too.
It’s been an interesting 7 years. I have had many ups and downs, but I came out gloriously shining. My journey is no where near over, it’s just beginning to glow brightly.
I love the concept of Azrael and Enyo. I made the Archangel of Death (aka the reaper, death) a rule following perfectionist. I made Enyo massively beautiful to not only the eyes, but the mind. Spiraling them into chaos made me smile, matching them in love made me wonder. Finishing their story isn’t entirely complete, as I have a fourth installment focusing on their son, Tobias.
